August 4th: USCG Birthday

The history of the United States Coast Guard goes back to the Revenue Cutter Service, which was founded on August 4th, 1790 by Alexander Hamilton as part of the Department of the Treasury.  This year they celebrate 226 years of serving our country.  Happy birthday Coast Guard! Thank you to all the Coast Guardsmen who serve and all service members!

“I had the privilege to meet, work with, and interview two Coast Guardsmen. I have every intention of having the honor to meet more. Thank you  AET1 McKenzie and  MST2 Blacklaw for everything you did to help me get this project started! And, of course, happy birthday Coast Guard!”  – Debra Zerr
